We want every student God brings us to have an opportunity to consider the basic and systematic doctrines of the Christian faith – to understand them in a way that would stand up if their faith is challenged in college. We offer such an opportunity through the experience we call Confirmation
Confirmation is designed for (and open to) youth who’ve completed seventh grade. It involves about twelve weeks of learning, gathering in small groups, going on a retreat, taking part in mission activities, developing and sharing a statement of faith, and helping each youth discern a way to tell others about who Jesus Christ is and what he has done for them.
There is usually a fee for confirmation to cover the costs of materials and the retreat. The fee varies, but usually runs around $120 per student.
